Gelato

Gelato

Gelato is the Italian traditional ice cream, derived from the Latin word “gelātus.” (meaning frozen). Gelato is made with milk, cream, various sugars, and flavoring such as fresh fruit and nut purees. Gelato is different with ice cream. Why? Because gelato has way less butterfat than ice cream. Also, gelato freezes less solidly than ice cream, so gelato melts faster that ice cream in your mouth.
